Directors
The Directors’ Group consists of the Chief Executive and four Directors.
Debra Lawson - Chief Executive (appointed 1992)
Debra has a degree in Strategic Town Planning and worked as a lecturer and in commercial research before moving into local authority housing. She was Chief Executive of Women's Pioneer Housing Association for four years before she joined Wandle. Debra is a Director of the Sustainable Energy Agency.
Bill Brown - Corporate Services Director (appointed 2007)
Bill joined Wandle from Threshold Housing and Support where he was Director of Human Resources and Corporate Services. Before that he held the top HR post at Brighton & Hove Council. He has a BA in Politics and a Masters degree in Human Resource Strategy.
Stephen Garvey - Finance Services Director (appointed 2007)
Steve joined Wandle in December 2007 from Town and County Housing Group where he was Finance Director. Before that he worked as a housing finance consultant, and as a Finance Director for other RSLs, including New Islington and Hackney (now part of Family Mosaic Housing Group), and Network Housing Group. He has a MBA from City University.
Nathan Gravesande - Development Services Director (appointed 1991)
Nathan has worked in housing and development for some of the largest housing associations in south London including Hyde. He has a BSc (Hons) in Social Psychology and Post-graduate Diploma in Management Studies.
Peter Mulloy - Housing Services Director (appointed 2007)
Peter joined Wandle from the London Borough of Merton where he had been Head of Housing before becoming Head of Strategy. He has worked for the London Borough of Lambeth, Penge Churches Housing Association and the Greater London Council. He has an MA in Political Science and a Masters Degree in Public and Social Administration.
