This 2012-2013 annual report is not the end of the story, but marks the beginning of a future we think is even more exciting. Throughout our history we have been proud to maintain our status as a traditional housing association, focussed on being a good landlord and housing manager.
Our vision is to become a community investment social enterprise, using financial power to change lives in our core boroughs. We will work in partnership with local authorities, MPs, relevant organisations and individuals to devise fully rounded local development plans. We will build local teams as community change agents, delivering the power of social capital to make a significant difference where it’s needed. We will make early interventions in the provision of education as a key route to job opportunities and life enhancement. And we will help and support start-up businesses, community groups and social enterprises to stimulate regeneration and employment opportunities.
Our mission is to create a dynamic, flexible and responsive organisation, channelling funds into housing, education, employment, health, parenting and self-management. We will do this through the delivery of borough-specific offers individually tailored to the needs of local people, local places and local organisations which have a stake in the community
