Transfers to Wandle Properties
A transfer is a move to another vacant Wandle property.
If you need to transfer to another Wandle property your housing officer will help you fill in a form. We’ll then assess your application and decide how high your priority is.
People in the most urgent band will be offered properties first when they become empty. This is because we don’t have enough homes for everyone who wants one.
Urgent reasons can include major repairs being carried out on your property, serious medical problems and domestic violence or harassment. Non-urgent categories include severe overcrowding and non-urgent medical problems.
If you want to move but have no urgent need to do so, you can still apply for a move, as sometimes a transfer is possible.
You may also want to consider option like mutual exchange or homeswap.
