Audit Commission Short Notice Inspection

Wandle was inspected by the Audit Commission, the Association’s independent watch dog from 10th-12th of November 2009.

Wandle  would like to thank all residents, staff, contractors and other partners who spoke with inspectors  or provided them with information while they were on site . Please watch this space for further opportunities to make your views heard!

The watchdog decided to look at two service areas:

• Day to day repairs
• Gas safety and servicing
• Housing Income

They also looked at how well:

• Tenants can access these services
• What tenants think of Wandle’s customer care
• How Wandle caters for different people’s needs and
• Whether Wandle delivers value for money  in providing these services

Results were published in early January 2010 .
