2004-05 Annual and Residents Report
Theme: Unique, Modern and Visionary
Key achievements included:
- Being selected by the Housing Corporation to take over Solon Wandsworth’s homes
- Retaining our Preferred Partner status with the Housing Corporation
- Establishing the South London Development Partnership – a formal agreement to develop homes for Bourne Housing Association and Croydon Churches Housing Association
- Hosting a successful Residents’ Conference led and planned by residents
- Establishing our new Corporate Services Directorate
- Piloting a supported housing risk management toolkit with the Housing Corporation
- Tackling housing inequality by exceeding lettings targets for the people from black and minority ethnic communities
- Working to increase transfer opportunities for residents
- Carrying out a major review of our treasury management operations and making significant efficiencies in our loan financing
