Theme: Focusing on Resident Involvement

Key achievements included:

Being awarded £63.7 million by the Housing Corporation for 2006/8, with a further £13 million available in our reserves.
Welcoming five new members to the South London Development Partnership, led by Wandle.
Working on three major projects – Canada Waters, Queen’s Road Peckham and the Elephant and Castle regeneration scheme.
Building 363 new homes – 1,188 more are in the development pipeline.
Opening Miles Road, Merton – a mixed tenure scheme of 93 properties with culturally sensitive management services provided by Millat Asian Housing Association.
Involving residents in the development of our new Residents Charter and handbook.
Continuing our Transforming Wandle change programme which will ensure we have the structure, staff and flexibility to meet future challenges.
