Covid-19 customer information

Our office remains closed, but we continue to deliver all regular services including repairs and maintenance and planned work that requires access inside customers' homes. We are deliveirng these services by working in a Covi-19 secure way; remotely where possible and with PPE and social distancing in place.   

The current Government guidance is clear on the businesses that can continue to carry out work and housing providers are encouraged to keep on delivering as many services as possible. At Wandle, we continue to do everything we can, working in a Covid-19 secure way, to deliver services, including planned works like bathroom and kitchen replacement, to our customers.

Keeping safe at home

Spending time at home can mean more people together indoors and an increase in activities like cooking, more electrical equipment plugged in and with the winter months upon us, more portable heaters in use. We would ask at this challenging time that you remain especially alert to hazards of all kinds about the home and take every safety precaution.

Here are a few simple tips to keep you, your family and neighbours safe:

  • Keep all fire exits clear
  • Do not use barbeques on balconies
  • Take care when cooking
  • Do not to overload plug sockets
  • Please be careful when smoking and ensure you extinguish your cigarettes safely. This includes not discarding them over the side of your balcony as they can fall on the balcony below and cause a fire.

Support for anyone enduring domestic abuse

Violence against partners, and within households, tends to increase during holidays periods and emergency situations. This means that for many, this can be a time of fear and pain.
