Get into Security

Are you 18 - 30? Not in employment, education or training, and looking for work?

The Prince's Trust and Triforce are running a FREE two-week training programme based in East London for young people interested in working in security.

  • FREE Level 2 SIA Door Supervisor qualification and accredited Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification

  • FREE SIA badge for those that complete the course, enabling you to apply for work as a door supervisor or a security officer and access roles across the security industry

  • Travel expenses paid on programme

  • No affect to your benefits

  • 6 months’ progression support from the Prince's Trust to help you find further work, education or training

To take part you will need:

  • In-Date Passport or Driving license

  • Where no driving licence or passport is available, original birth certificate issued within 1 year of birth must be presented, along with proof of N.I.

  • 5 year address history (no evidence needed, just details)

  • 5 year employment history including any gaps (no evidence needed, just details)

Checking criminal convictions
This online facility will give an indication of whether or not you meet our criminality criteria. It includes a list of the offences we take into account when making a licensing decision. You will be asked to enter information about all cautions, warnings, absolute/conditional discharges, admonishments and convictions you may have - and in the case of convictions, the actual sentence received. You will remain anonymous throughout the process.
