Wandle is delighted to have been shortlisted for this year’s Outstanding Approach to Repairs and Maintenance Award at the 2017 UK Housing Awards (UKHA) following our six month plan to turn performance around.
We’re still on a journey with lots more to do, but thanks to the team’s hard work and willingness to think outside the box and innovate we’ve already doubled the number of jobs carried out per day per operative, and reached 93.1% customer satisfaction with repairs.
Since the Rebooting Repairs programme went live, repairs is performing far beyond expectations, at a level no-one predicted to see so early on. The change has been recognised not just in the stats, but the feedback we’ve received from residents and wider stakeholders.

The next stage of the judging process is a presentation in front of a panel of judges, before the winner is announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 26 April.
