Young Wandle residents conduct their first community inspection

Wandle’s ‘Young Inspectors’ carried out their first community visit in June as part of a new youth inclusion project to help young people in south London shape their local neighbourhoods.

Five residents aged from 13 to 25 visited Wandle’s Evan Cook Close and Clarson House schemes in Southwark on Saturday 4 June 2016 to inspect the areas and speak with residents about the running of their community.

Wandle residents lend a hand for Volunteers’ Week

Wandle residents are lending a hand across south London this June as part of Volunteers’ Week, an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of people make across the UK.

The housing association is promoting its successful volunteering programme to encourage even more residents living in nine south London boroughs to develop their skills and make a positive impact in their neighbourhoods.
