Thorough, timely pest control is vital to ensure your comfort, safety and wellbeing and the integrity of our homes.
We recently changed our approach to pest control and have introduced a new pest control policy.
Previously, pest control sat under our repairs policy. This meant that you were responsible for your own pest control issues (except where there was a defect in the property, if the infestation came from a communal space, or in cases where a wider infestation impacted a communal area.) We realised this approach wasn’t working and wasn’t reflective of the level of service we want to provide.
To address this, we decided to take a different approach when creating our new pest control policy, working with you to develop a more proactive customer-centric approach.
Now, if you report pests within your home (pigeons and other birds, squirrels, cockroaches, wasps and ants)we’ll raise a case and send a contractor to investigate. The contractor will report back on their findings, allowing us to work with you to resolve the issue – either through repairs or other forms of support and intervention.
Please note that you are responsible for dealing with common household pests such as flies, moths, bees, beetles, silverfish, caterpillars and spiders.
Thank you for helping us shape the new policy and allowing us to deal with pests quickly and effectively.
